Moss Motors Special Orders - No Longer Shipping to Canada

Heads up to everyone that Moss Motors will no longer ship special orders to Canada. Of course, they don't see the need to tell you that when you order, you have to wait for your order to not arrive then call them to find that out

I've noticed that they've been having some items shipped directly from their suppliers like Racing Beat. You'd think that'd save time over having to wait for them to get it in and then ship to you.

This is the situation through which I discovered their new policy. I'd ordered the hard bar from them, which was a special order requiring shipping direct from the manufacturer. Moss has since then determined that they won't do that any more for out of country.

I've ordered twice from Moss Motors in the past couple of months without difficulty (latest was an interior lighting kit). No problem at all with ordering from/shipping to Canada, good communications & fast shipping, too. I guess they reversed their earlier decision. Mind you, I didn't order a roll bar...

I think it's just Hard Dog roll bars they won't ship to Canada. It's not Moss's policy, but rather Hard Dog's. Hard Dog only offers a drop-ship program, so Moss gets an order, calls Hard Dog up, and Hard Dog ships it. Hard Dog refuses to ship to Canada now (due to fraud in the past or something). If anyone wants a Hard Dog Bar, I can get them.
